Larry Kessler

Lorence L. Kessler serves as Of Counsel to NTLL. He currently is an attorney in private practice in Washington, DC, where he has specialized in employment law for more than twenty years. Mr. Kessler has advised many employers on the development of sound policies and practices, including the design and implementation of effective complaint investigation procedures and the preparation of affirmative action programs. He also has written and lectured on numerous topics related to sound EEO practices and programs, including the synergy between EEO and AA practices and an effective diversity program. Mr. Kessler has testified before congressional committees on the steps taken by employers to maintain a harassment-free work environment, and is the author of Managing Diversity in an Equal Opportunity Workplace: A Primer for Today’s Manager, and a co-author of EEAC’s manual, Developing Effective Affirmative Action Programs.

Mr. Kessler has successfully represented employers in employment litigation involving a variety of equal opportunity issues. He formerly served as law clerk to Chief Judge Rabe F. Marsh in the United States District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Dickinson College (A.B.) and the National Law Center, George Washington University (J.D.).
